common conditions treated

The combined experience of the staff at Interface allows us to treat a variety of mental and behavioral health symptoms and conditions. With that said, we do have specialties and expertise in particular areas. Our current specialties include:

  • Depression
  • Trauma and Stress Related Disorders
  • Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking
  • Anxiety
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Grief and Loss

Often people experience co-occurring conditions, meaning symptoms associated with more than one condition at a time. Common co-occurring concerns in therapy include drug and alcohol use, gender identity and expression, disordered eating, and developmental and neurocognitive disabilities, among others. The assessment and planning sessions at the beginning of therapy are a great time to identify the overlapping needs a person may have and determine what concerns to focus on first.

treatment models

We take pride in our responsibility to offer therapy that's helpful in alleviating symptoms, reducing suffering and restoring balance and fulfillment in people's lives. While there are no guarantees that any form of therapy will produce the desired results for a particular person, we use evidence-based models of therapy, stay on top of current research findings and receive continuous training so that we can offer the most appropriate treatment to each person. The therapists at Interface specialize in the following treatment models:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

If you're interested in a particular type of treatment, contact us or schedule a consultation to discuss this with a therapist. Following consultation and assessment, each therapist will make recommendations about which form(s) of therapy are most appropriate for each person based on their specific symptoms and goals.
